I created this design for Dr. Jaromczyk of the University of Kentucky’s Computer Science department. Besides redesigning the layout, I also was responsible for cleaning up the content by better organizing it and converting straight HTML pages to use PHP and XHTML. I used PHP to decrease code repetition as well as to offer features allowing Dr. Jaromczyk to update sections of his site more easily (e.g. parsing plain-text files to generate advising forms, so that Dr. Jaromczyk could update the text file and a PHP script would update his form).
